so i just walked into the freight elevator at my office with my bike, my bike chain and my jump-over-trucks biking gloves on. this dude was like "hey- nice outfit. are you delivering the mail?" "no, i'm just going to work" "oh. is that chain real? like is it made of metal? it looks heavy." "it is heavy. it's my bike lock and chain." "oh." then he gets in the elevatorand starts listening to talk news or talk podcasts or something all loud. it was weird. well anyway. come to the VDAY benefit tonight and dance with eve ensler and celeb guests! you never know, i once went with vday to mexico with jane fonda, sally field, eve, christine lahti, 2 congresswomen and a host of other minor celebs. may as well come down and help end violence against women as well as dance with celebs.
