CREATIVE CYCLIST MEMORIAL TO LIZ PADILLA.

Visual Resistance installed the ghost bike and a plaque as a memorial to cyclist Elizabeth Padilla who was killed by a truck recently. One of their members had the very difficult experience of witnessing the body right after her death and was profoundly affected. The piece is really moving. The need for a safer environment for cyclists is so obviously dire, it's really just criminal and insance that the city can't get it's act together and instead continues to sacrifice our lives. i worry about all my friends and all the cyclists out there every day. thanks to visual resistance for this piece and wooster for highlighting it.
