WHAT A GODDAMN AMAZING NIGHT.

moment of complete sneaky artistic creative genius on the part of swoon and japanther. i mean jeezuss. so here's the setting. goddamn rattlesnake & poorboy johnson tear it up inside the exhibit under the highline. i come out to get some air and the back door of this rental truck flies up and japanther starts tearing a hole in the sound barrier outside the deitch projects. they play an incredible short set creating a massive moshpit and completely filling the street. then they thrown down the truck door and the crowd is seething, demanding more music. the door flies up again and ian goes "well the cops haven't come yet, let's keep playing" and they tear shit up again. set finishes, door flies down, and they drive away. fucking genius. i've never been so impressed.
