check it out. last night i saw this sign up at my gym (new york sports clubs). it said that if you donate at least $20 to hurricane relief through their company they'll give you (new member) a complimentary 30 day membership. that's a hell of a lot better than the $80 i pay a month. plus you get free personal training, pools, steam rooms, saunas, tons of awesome classes (like kickboxing and stuff), something like 180 locations in the city, complimentary toiletries and other nice shit. they say:

TSI is proud to announce a collective relief effort in response to Hurricane Katrina's devastating effects on families across the nation. Due in part to a huge outpouring from concerned TSI staff and members alike, here's what we're doing as an organization: Beginning September 15, through September 30, TSI will donate all proceeds from the sale of a special one-month guest pass to the American Red Cross. Any member or employee who wishes to purchase a special Katrina Relief Fund one-month guest pass can do so at a reduced price of $20 (originally valued at $125). TSI will donate 100% of the monies collected from these Katrina Relief Fund passes to the American Red Cross.
