aren't i a jerk? i'm sorry i fucked up the antleredlist this week. i was out of the office all friday. in anycase, i wanted to tell you about my new best friend scarlett johannsson who sammy, leah, jake, ariston and i met at max fish on thursday. what a cute little sweetie! she and josh hartnett were just the cutest li'l heartbreakers. scarlett was there with a boy who was not josh hartnett so don't go telling anyone lies about my besty. scarlett and i shared a knowing glance about the crowdedness of the place on the way to the bathroom. then we were bff. and then she gave me money because i'm broke. thanks scarlett! so. i'm glad you all joined us last night for 1) japanther/matt+kim/Aa/la guillotine at pratt, 2) poorboy johnson & the goddamn rattlesnake rec release party 3) ALINA'S BOOTY SHAKIN GOODBYE PARTY. i'm gonna miss that girl so much. now the rest of labor day is more tame than last night, so the antleredlist officially blows this week. well i still love you and stuff. SATURDAY 1) The Twisted One's and Mighty Robot present: The 4th annual Brooklyn Junkyard Rock Festival Parking lot show with Hot Fire Girls, Telepathy, Fireball, the Hospitals, Ex-Models, the Double, and Oneida. Plus DJs Mike Wolf and Crazy Rhythms DJ Crew. South 5th Street, between Berry and Wythe, Williamsburg, Brooklyn Noon doors, 1-7p bands; midnightoconnor@yahoo.com [via nonsensenyc.com] 2) The 4th annual Brooklyn Junkyard Rock Festival NOLA Fundraiser Rooftop fundraiser for New Orleans flooding victims, hosted by overspray magazine. With Stinking Lizaveta, Mad Cow, Omack, Drayton Sawyer Gang, and UniPigeon. Overspray magazine is devoted to documenting stencil graffiti and street-art of all types and varieties, and the donation money will go directly to the relief effort now underway.
