Virginia is for Voters! Help D4D. Get back in the battle! Hello D4Der- Come with us this weekend to VA!!!! Remember how amazing OHIO was? This weekend, June 10-12, we are continuing our unprecedented efforts; don't miss this great opportunity. We are looking to fill 10 spots for a short jaunt down for the weekend to kick-off the most important political race of 2005 - TIM KAINE for Governor of VA. ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN: This trip will lay the foundation for the next 5 months. We are conducting a survey of young voters in northern Virginia that goes beyond issue and candidate preference to reveal attitudes towards the role of government in their lives, their perceptions of the political process, their feelings about the two parties, as well as tracking registration and voting trends. Armed with this information, we can demand greater accountability from the Democrats. This race is neck and neck, and it has major national implications. Current Lieutenant Governor TIM KAINE is a progressive Democratic candidate who supports Roe v. Wade and centralized funding for education, to eliminate inequalities of property tax funded schools. What goes down in this race determines how the Democrats are viewed nationally for House and Senate races in '06 and also determines the strategies to be implemented over the next few years for a Democratic victory in the white house in '08. We proved that 18-34 year olds do turn out in droves. Come chat with some VA folks, show that we turn out for a state race, and sustain the involvement built last fall.
