FUN FUN FUN AT THE CINDERS GALLERY

Cinders wants you to join us for some summertime music in our art installation: Live on the Porch Series Continues!! Monday July 11th 8pm THE GOOD GOOD - our Brooklyn friends are playing a special acoustic set with possible flutes, trombones, and melodicas, to add to the usual good goodness rock we love so much! GLEN OR GLENDA – an avant jazz-noise trio all the way from France and touring the states with… JUSTIN CLIFFORD RHODY - lo-fi and heartfelt acoustic songs, on tour from Indiana, runs the rad friends and relatives record label that puts out sweet $1 cassette compilations and records by great folks like Uke of Phillips, Jad Fair, Matty Pop Chart and Impractical Cockpit, a split with Little Wings is out now! Thursday July 14th 8pm JEFFREY LEWIS – anti-folk punk singing heartfelt songs about real things that matter like love and life and comics and the history of punk and how to kill zombies. Records out on Rough Trade and various cassette/comic book self-releases. PREWAR YARDSALE – a guy, a girl, maybe their son? Playing catchy new wave anti-folk with a fuzzed out guitar and tin-can bucket kit. Really Great! Also Dan Monaghan! Sunday July 17th 7pm RACCOO-OO-OO-N - a special porch set by these guys who are on tour from Iowa! Check out their cool website and listen to their MP3s for a taste test of their melodic noise action! DAN FRIEL - from Parts and Labor he makes killer electronic soundscapes using various walkie talkies, cheap keyboards, remote control joysticks and lots o pedals. Soooo good.
