RED LIGHT WINTER

is fucking dope. just saw it tonight thanks to veebs and the nice chaps over at iced media. i really enjoyed it. i think the dialogue is really palatable for people under 50 and especially 20 and 30 somethings. there is full frontal nudity and super graphic sex on stage. whoa! it wasn't one of those plays you see that changes your life forever but more of a great tragic love triangle. the guy who plays the asshole is pretty amazing as is the nerdish recluse and the wild but thoughtful girl. i wished there had been more substance to her character--more quirks and stuff. but i like that the audience respects her throughout the play and though a prostitute, she is not too degraded through the play. anyway, it was great, go see it.
