this from an unnamed source:
I was just there and saw a stage set up by the monument. It's a Save CBGB rally of some sort. One of the stage hands told me that B-52's, Blondie, Patti, and Public Enemy are scheduled to appear. It's on from 3:00-7:00 - TODAY! Go! Now!
HA. THIS IS FOR EVERY ASIAPHILE GETTING NEATO ASIANEY TATTOOS BECAUSE THEY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH FETISHIZATION. YOU FUCKING HACKS.

SMARTASS FUCKING GENIUS BLOG COMMENTARY.
(literally a pool of blood at zane's going away party saturday night.)
and that's not just because i got listed in the "best blogs" section. the highlight i must say, is the "why your blog is shitty" section. it's like when people talk to you on im or leave comments that make you goddam certain that they have reverted like 11 years to 'tweenhood and are just steps away from emoticoning you. people lose jobs over that shit my friends! seriously! "lol" and "ur" are not words! "np" does not suffice to suggest that it's no problem! i recommended a friend for a job at a certain nyc mag once. the friend who was otherwise competent didn't get the job because my mag friend was like "the dude spoke mostly in emoticons. it just wasn't gonna work out." anyway. seenster is your friendster. go read a seriously pro-awesome blog. oh and zipco, some abbreviations are funny and/or snarky and some make you sound like you're 14. they're completely different, jerk.
HOT BLOODY WEEKEND.
highlight of my weekend: anne writing zane in blood on her boobs.
Wild and wonderful weekend. Friday critical massacre. 49 ARRESTS. jeez. anyway, i only stayed for the beginning, met up with college bff katharine, dave (one) and related friends & lovers for dinner at the pink pony, ducked out and rode over to the nacho house and then rode en masse to john's going away rock & roof extravaganza. saturday was zane's super duper huge-ginormo going away rooftop party with matt & kim, poorboy johnson & the goddamn rattlesnake, meneguar!!!, mattress wrestling, free beer and sparks and a pool of fake blood. i got so drunk that i didn't make it to what sounds like an absolutely lovely show at officeops with freaking japanther. sad. tears. sorry i missed it. so then on sunday i skipped the todd p marathon show and rode my bike to coney island because i felt like it. caught the last day of espo's dreamland artist clubhouse and had a nice ride home. then i melted into the couch in front of the tv. ahhh the weekend. back to work.
