IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LIKE THE YANKEES, IT'S THAT I DON'T REALLY LIKE PROFESSIONAL SPORTS.
go yankees. rob LOVES the yankees. he loves the yankees like he loves new york. note that he drinks brooklyn and wears rainbow YANKEES on his head. personally, to be honestly honest for a second here if that's alright, i hate professional sports. i can barely play baseball. i'd totally rather pick my scabs or brush my teeth than watch sports on TV.

Surrealism is a permanent readiness for the Marvelous. -Cesaire
"Thus, far from contradicting, diluting, or diverting our revolutionary attitude toward life, surrealism strengthens it. It nourishes an impatient strength within us, endlessly reinforcing
the massive army of refusals." Suzanne Cesaire.
(thanks, Jacob for sending these delights my way)
SEE YOU AT CRITICAL MASS.
So I suspect you forgot for a moment about critical mass. no? Well good. You will definitely be there friday. I know you. deets at visual resistance's slammin' website. Friday night. Get on your bike and stay there. No walking allowed this weekend! You gotta either dance or ride. hard.
PROPERTY GAMES = FUCK OFF.
oh my god. wooster collective posted this absolutely terrible company that steals street artists' images and puts them on t-shirts which it then sells without notifying the artists or sharing the profits. gross.
sucka kindly points out: send hate mail. jw@0009.org
KEEP IT TIGHT. ALL UP IN YOUR BANANA HAMMOCK.
So I was gonna scan the flier in but then I got this from sucka. So, because I'm exhausted from sewing up the swoon legend last night till 5am, and because i'm straight jacking this shit from sucka i'd like you to visit suckatown for deets on your saturday plans: 1) bicycle fetish day-OUTSIDE MY DAMN HOUSE! 2) BLACK LABEL SPANDEX PARTY. deets here. i hope you fear the power that is me and alina's ass shaking spandex destructo creations. take that as a direct challenge to your masculinity.

something for the kids. i went into the cake shop the other day for the first time and my dumb friend had gotten suckered into buying a FOUR DOLLAR CUP OF COFFEE TO GO from the pink pony. so he forgets to get sugar and we stop in the cake shop and ask if he can use the sugar and the girl was like 'no.' and he was like, you're crazy, it's sugar. and she was like 'i guess.' and he used the sugar.
YOU READY TO GET SPANDEX STOMPED ON SATURDAY NIGHT?
miss moustache in front of spandex house's hall of fame today with autographed thank you's from oksana baiul among others. alina and i just went spandex shopping for saturday night's black label spandex party at the chicken hut. save the date. clear your calendar. this night will be some bootyshakingsloppytighthotsweatygetyourassonthefloor kinda shit. like this. get ready. we are. speaking of spandex, there's a little in this lincoln navigator ad. (via gawker) (pic links c/o seelie) if you're nice or i drink too much there will be a little antlered b-girl action.
tribute to bakunin seen on spandex today, also note the invention of a new word in the top right "anar." i think what this fabric is trying to tell us is that we should go read some bakounine in our pink spandex fatigues while attempting to make anar happen. it's not the first time people have taken political cues from clothing.
Leon. Pic's a little dark, but look at that adorable mug. So photogenic. Don't pretend like I don't love the man, zip. proof.

SEELIE MADE THE FLAVORPILL BANNER!
yay seelie! seelie's such a wildly talented photographer. he made the flavorpill banner today! not like he hasn't been amply plugged here, but let me just remind everyone how rad seelie is. check out his photosite here and his blog here. tod also does toyshop collective. pic from seelie banner above. and another seelie fave here tod also has an obsession with deer, rather than just antlers, like me. (in my dream there's a deer uprising and there's no more hunting ever.) here's the chicago credit page.
CREEPY AS FUCK.
Man, there are crazy psychos all over the internet. Some crazy mormons posted this crazy shit about the film i'm in called Speak Out: I Had an Abortion on the internet. Scroll down to find write-up. Anyway, it's screening on June 2 at 8pm in Williamsburg at UnionDocs. Info here. The film documents the personal stories of women, including feminist icon Gloria Steinem's and my own. I expect to see all my friends there. That means you. SWOON will be presenting some work of hers along with LINDA ZACKS.
STOP DRIVING.
Dear Plan D clothing, thank you so much for my soon to be hoodie. I love it. I swear I'm coming to pick it up tonight. Last night I saw nice boys from Peripheral Media Projects at the Wooster Collective salon. Check them out in the village voice. This will change the iconic nature of my antlered hoodie, which means that seeing me in antlers may become a slightly more rare occurrence. And because I'm a total dumb sometimes, I forgot my camera at home and I'll have to wait till tomorrow to post pics from the event.

FREE SIMON. NYT ON SIMON.
free simon. wooster reprinted an article from the new york times about the circumstances of simon's arrest recently. here's his myspace profile link and his website link. here's the new york times article. also, i'm not passing judgment here, just passing on some info about simon. i barely know him. update: wooster posted a response to this article. (thanks seelie.)
a few little repairs had to be done on the "art of motion" advertisement. it's all ripped up and someone wrote 'advertising is bad' on it. photo by k.see. check his fotolog here, and some other things related to k.see.
